My son celebrated his 25th birthday on his own with a special meal at Rössli in Utzigen and it turned out to be a positive experience. He actually walked an hour just to get there, and he said it was absolutely worth it! He loved everything about the visit including the warm and welcoming service, the cozy, inviting ambience, and especially the food. The chicken wings stood out as a highlight: perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and served with care. What made the experience even more special was the setting. The restaurant is nestled in beautiful Swiss countryside, with peaceful surroundings and stunning views of Gurten and Ulmizberg hills - he shares this with us by video call while eating there. The outdoor terrace and garden add to the experience, offering a perfect place to relax and soak in the landscape. Many guests arrive on foot or by bike, and it’s easy to see why as it appears that just getting there is part of the charm ((he walked there and back twice).
