The Turkish restaurant Natolien Grillhaus more than exceeded my expectations on my last visit. As soon as you entered the restaurant, you were struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere - the combination of oriental decor, soft lighting and Turkish music in the background created an authentic ambience. Food and Drink The menu offered an impressive variety, from classic starters like the mezze and sigara böreki to hearty main courses like adana, lamb skewers and vegetarian options like stuffed eggplant. I would particularly like to highlight the homemade lahmacun – thin, crispy and perfectly seasoned. My main course, the Iskender, was an absolute delight: succulent meat on a bed of bread, coated in a spicy tomato sauce and finished with a dollop of yoghurt. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to the typical soft drinks, authentic Turkish drinks such as Ayran and Raki are also offered. My tip: Try the freshly brewed Turkish tea or coffee - a successful end to the meal. service The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our waitress took the time to explain the dishes and was happy to accommodate individual requests. The waiting times were pleasantly short, even though the restaurant was busy. Value for money The prices are absolutely fair for the quality and portion size. The mezze platter for sharing is particularly a highlight and is very attractively priced. Conclusion Natolien Grillhaus is a place where you can not only eat great food, but also experience a piece of Turkish culture and hospitality.
