I would recommend checking before going. It was marked as open for breakfast, and there was a menu on the entrance wall, but they said they just had a guest and couldn’t welcome us. It's just a matter of clarifying this information.

Located right above the harbor with a stunning view, Mirari Restaurant in Split is an absolute hidden gem. Despite being unfairly empty during our visit, I urge anyone to give this place a try—it’s that good! My boyfriendj and I indulged in seven dishes because we simply couldn’t get enough. For starters, we had the crab salad and tuna carpaccio. The crab salad had a mild but nuanced flavor palette, while the tuna carpaccio was incredibly tender. For our main courses, we enjoyed the monkfish with asparagus, Caesar salad, and sea bass with artichoke. The asparagus, wrapped in bacon and served with a creamy sauce, was delightful. The monkfish was buttery, and the sea bass was flaky, complemented by a rich but not overpowering hollandaise sauce. The grilled artichokes added a slight smoky flavor, creating a beautiful combination. The Caesar salad was uniquely served with shrimp potato croquettes instead of chicken. The croquettes were perfectly fried—crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. It was a Caesar salad like no other. For dessert, we had the honey cake and tiramisu. Both were wonderful. All these dishes were paired with a crisp and sweet white wine recommended by our server, as well as prosecco for me and a cocktail. Each dish was beautifully plated, reflecting the care and attention that went into their preparation. We felt very well taken care of and had a lovely time. We were pleasantly surprised by the low bill, especially considering the amount we ate and the high-end atmosphere of the establishment. While the plates are on the smaller side, it allows you to try more dishes, which is a real treat! Mirari is a culinary delight that deserves much more recognition.
