Restaurant Melita è vicinissimo al St. Mary Island. Questo locale è consigliato agli amanti della cucina croata. Curatissimi pesce fritto, risotto e bistecche possono essere quello che ti ci vuole. Dal punto di vista dei visitatori, il gelato qui è ineguagliabile. Diversi visitatori considerano che puoi provare vino della casa o birra ottimi in questo ristorante. Highlight of our day! Where else in the world can you bike on a greenway in a park and stop, wave a red flag from shore and a handsome man in a boat drives over to pick you up? Great drinks! Great staff! Memorable experience. Our boat driver, Danny was amazing, so sweet! We will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Restaurant Melita (Croatian for honey) is the only restaurant on St Mary’s Island, and only one of two restaurants in Mljet National Park. You can only reach the island by ferry. The restaurant is on the lakefront and just below the Benedictine Monastery - beautiful location. We ordered a simple octopus salad, scampi buzzara and a couple of beers. They were relatively pricey but food options in the national park are limited. Before our food was served they came out with a small serve of tuna mousse and bread. We explained that we didn’t order any appetisers and they argued it was a couvert - that we had to have it and didn’t I want bread with my buzzara. The couvert is effectively a 3,35E cover charge just for eating at the restaurant- which you don’t get charged for drinking at the restaurant. Never have I been charged a couvert in a Croatian restaurant before. Anyway the octopus salad, 22,165E, was fresh and tasty. The scampi bazzara, 29,100E, looked amazing the sauce was delicious (needed the bread to soak it all up with) however of the six scampi half were overcooked and mushy not firm. In the end they took off the price of the tuna mousse but charged for the bread which was fair enough. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: kn 150–200 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
