Restaurant Le Cinq A great surprise in the Plan-les-Ouates industrial area. From the outside, you wouldn’t necessarily expect much, but once inside it has a warm, contemporary atmosphere that’s perfect for both business lunches and relaxed dinners. What you should know before going: • ️ The menu changes regularly and focuses on seasonal ingredients, so it’s worth asking about the daily specials. Many regulars come specifically for them.  • There’s a pleasant terrace for warmer days, which makes the experience much more relaxed than the surrounding business district would suggest.  • Free parking is available in the industrial zone around the restaurant—a real advantage in Geneva and one of the reasons it’s popular with locals and professionals working nearby.  • Don’t skip dessert or coffee. Several diners specifically mention the homemade desserts and excellent coffee as a nice way to finish the meal.  • It gets busy at lunchtime with people from nearby companies, so booking ahead is a good idea if you’re planning a weekday lunch.  The service is welcoming and efficient, and the overall experience feels polished without being pretentious. Prices are reasonable for Geneva, especially considering the quality of the food and generous portions. Bottom line: A reliable local address that’s a little off the beaten path. Easy parking, seasonal cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and good value make it well worth the detour if you’re in the Plan-les-Ouates area.
