Our experience at Restaurant Krug was absolutely divine. The restaurant is a small intimate space and everyone gets to sit at a chefs table overlooking the kitchen. From the beginning the staff made us feel at home and comfortable and explained everything that was going to happen tonight. The food speaks for itself and every thing off the prix fixe was incredible. For us the highlight was the beef with the jus and the caramelized onion and truffle side. For each dish someone from the kitchen or front of house brings it over and explains what it is in detail and with passion. We got the wine pairings as well and got to taste the finest Croatia has to offer. The sommelier was a pleasure to talk to and has painstakingly acquired the best wines for this experience. Some of the wines offered in the pairing list are so rare that they are not even commercially available for purchase. This place is truly a testament to fine wine, food, and service and I recommend it wholeheartedly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Exquisite! This restaurant was the highlight of Split! Lovely atmosphere and jovial staff and really special food. Everything was so thoughtfully crafted, executed and explained. A TRUE Michelin experience. My husband and I especially loved the hake dish with zucchini and this incredible butter sauce that we would’ve slurped up with a straw if we could’ve it was so delicious but also balanced and not overly rich. We will remember this experience for many years to come. The dessert was also a standout. The photo I took doesn’t do it justice and it doesn’t look like much on the plate but it was tremendous! One of the best and most innovative desserts I’ve ever had. It was incredible. Every element was unusual but perfect and it all went so well together. It’s clear from the moment you walk into this unassuming door that these guys know what they’re doing and it was just a joy to experience it. Thank you to the full Krug team. Just exceptional.
