If you were wondering where you can have a true Swiss experience, with high-quality food from local farmers - look no further longer. It is definitely here. This gem of local Swiss cuisine is just 30 mins away from Zurich / Meilen or 10 mins from Pfäffikon. We came here for the Sunday brunch that is being arranged only once a month in the winter and a few times a month during the summer. Here you will find family atmosphere, locally sourced food and ingredients from the farmers and animals who live just around the corner. The homemade bread by the hostess, the butter that you just want to keep on eating , the homemade Swiss cheese from another farmer in the neighborhood, the eggs from the local free range chickens - everything was just perfect. The hosts are very friendly, speak several languages and personally welcome all guests. By the way, beside us, a lot of locals were having brunch with us, and they highly value this place, not because of good relations with the owner but because of the quality of the food and atmosphere. The place is run with love and passion for high-quality locally sourced foods, and you can clearly see they chose quality and the atmosphere over quantity of guests and high turnover. There is plenty of parking space. You can rent the place for your private parties, events or gatherings. The prices are incredibly affordable for the Swiss standard; the full brunch menu was 40- 50 CHF. To pay such prices for a full-size menu and high-quality ingredients, you would normally need to drive 4 hours to Italy. For dates for brunches, please check their website.
