Restaurant Glacier sits right in front of the Eiger North Face, and the floor-to-ceiling window makes the whole meal. The tasting menu was seasonal, well executed, and not overcomplicated — every course actually delivered. Service was friendly and on point, and the sommelier knew the cellar inside out. It was a pleasure to return to Glacier. As always, the experience was outstanding, with high-quality cuisine, beautifully prepared dishes, and excellent ingredients. The wine selection is simply magnificent and perfectly complements every meal. A place where great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service always make you want to come back. I had the great pleasure of visiting the restaurant at Hotel Glacier in Grindelwald, and it was truly one of the best culinary experiences during my stay in Switzerland. Both the food and the atmosphere were outstanding. Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and refined down to the smallest detail. You can clearly feel the attention to quality ingredients and the genuine passion for cooking. The service was exceptionally professional, warm, and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. Special recognition goes to the head chef, whose talent and creativity could be felt in every dish. It is exactly this level of dedication that makes the restaurant stand out and leaves such a memorable impression.
