The food at Restoran Eva is top-notch, and the strudel we came for truly deserves all the praise. Unfortunately, the overall impression was completely ruined by disastrous and rude service. āThe waiter (with tattoos on his arms and longer hair) greeted us in an extremely arrogant manner. Even though there were empty tables, he barely let us in, and when we mentioned we only wanted strudel and drinks, we got an eye-roll and a disrespectful "Go on!" while he gestured toward a table. He literally slammed our drinks onto the table so hard the bottles loudly clattered, without a shred of basic politenessāno "here you go," "thank you," or "please." We even noticed guests at the neighboring table had to go inside to get pepper themselves because he completely ignored them. āHe softened his approach slightly toward the end when bringing out the strudel, but a bitter taste remained. A smile and basic etiquette cost nothing. The food gets a solid 5/5, but the service is a total zeroāunreasonably, we didn't leave a tip, nor do we have any desire to return. Dear Ann, we deeply apologise for such an unprofessional service in our restaurant. We spoke with the waiter who was under the heavy pressure as our main waitress got ill the day before. Once again, we are very sorry for your unpleasent experience
