Absolutely LOVED this place . I added it to my list of favourite places right after my first visit. A non pretentious place where I had an overall great experience. I appreciated the staff’s kindness, specially after having had bad experiences with rude staff in Sion while visiting Zenhäusern (which compared to this place I think is honestly not as great) or the worst of all: Grand Café (in front of the Gare à Sion), where I’m NEVER going back to after the way my friend and I were treated. I think everything tastes better when you get it from someone smiling back at you. Also, everything I tried was delicious and I found this is THE ONLY PLACE I’ve found in the area so far that has one of my favourite things in the world: CANELÉ, a “small French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust” (yes! , it’s as good as it sounds). Definitely going back!
