Bel ristorante svizzero autentico. Cibo buono, in particolare i secondi; dolci da migliorare. 0.5l d‘acqua a 5.- CHF una ladrata. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 60–70

Wirtschaft zur Ente is not located on a main street, but that doesn’t affect its popularity. When we arrived around 12:00 PM, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, but gradually more guests arrived as time passed. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable, making it suitable for both formal family gatherings and business meals. The staff were warm, attentive, and flexible, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The menu is entirely in German, so we relied on ChatGPT for translation and explanation. This made ordering both a challenge and a fun part of the experience. Dishes We Tried - FEiNE KALBSLEBERL, CHF38.5 The veal liver was very tender, with the rich, characteristic flavor of liver. There was a slight bit of sinew, which slightly affected the texture. ZARTES RINDSTILET, CHF 54.00 The beef was served medium rare, with a pink center and no blood. The texture was excellent, even though I usually prefer it slightly rarer. FRISCHE RAVION, CHF 37.5 This was my first time trying it. The pumpkin filling was soft, and the cheese flavor was pronounced. For me, it was slightly rich, but still enjoyable. FLEISCHVOGEL “ENTE” ART, CHF34.5 I had never tried this style of cooking before. The rolled meat had a slightly sausage-like texture, delicate meat, and tasted very good, though a bit salty. 1/2 Port. Vermic, CHF 9.00 The presentation was very attractive. The dessert consisted of chestnut purée paired with meringues. The chestnut purée was fragrant and smooth, slightly sweet, and combined with the crisp meringues, it created a delightfully rich and enjoyable texture. Each bite offered a pleasant contrast between creamy and crunchy flavors. Overall, Wirtschaft zur Ente offers a high-quality dining experience with elegant surroundings, attentive service, and a menu full of interesting dishes. Even if the menu is in German, the process of exploring and tasting each dish is part of the charm. For anyone visiting Geneva who wants a comfortable, memorable meal away from the main streets, this restaurant is an excellent choice.
