During my Camino journey, I had one of those unforgettable moments when I dined with my two companions at Restaurant Čerin in Prižba. From the very first step onto their terrace, the experience felt like a perfect blend of flavors, scents, and views. Sitting above the endless Adriatic, we couldn’t decide whether we were more nourished by the food on our plates or by the horizon stretching as far as the eye could see. We enjoyed a delicious fish soup, fresh white fish, a rich risotto with shrimp, colorful salads, and vegetables from the grill – each dish prepared with such care that you could taste the sea and the land in every bite. The highlight was their local wine, Pošip, fresh and full-bodied, pairing beautifully with the entire meal. What made the evening even more special was the service. The young woman who served us was warm and attentive, always checking if we had everything we needed, yet never intrusive. Her genuine smile and kindness made us feel truly welcome. And as if that wasn’t enough, the hosts even organized transportation to our accommodation at the end of the evening – a gesture that showed we weren’t just guests, but friends. Everything – the food, the wine, the service, the details, and above all, the view – was simply flawless. Restaurant Čerin is not just a place to eat; it is a place to experience Korčula in its full beauty.
