Holiday apartment in the Hotel Bürchnerhof: the four of us stayed in the Bürchnerhof holiday apartment for a week at the end of May/beginning of June 2023 and felt very comfortable! The living and dining room has large windows and offers a panoramic view in three directions. It is very bright and friendly and we often happily stayed there or on one of the balconies and enjoyed the great view. The apartment is divided over two floors, upstairs 2 bedrooms and a nice bathroom with toilet and shower (attached to one of the rooms) and downstairs another bedroom, a second bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and a third toilet. We also found the combination of the holiday apartment concept with the amenities of a hotel (room service, breakfast in the hotel and the possibility of booking dinner flexibly as well as the possibility of using the swimming pool and sauna) very pleasant. The daily breakfast was delicious and we were also impressed by the evening meal (once a raclette evening and once an à la carte dinner. There was also a children's menu with delicious dishes for the children (there was also a small playground outside). Swimming pool and sauna We gladly used it every day, you can switch on the sauna yourself if required. The hoteliers (Sophia & Gregor) were always very nice and helpful. A clear recommendation from our side! A little bit about the place: for us the perfect place in Valais. The hotel is in a very quiet location surrounded by nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns in the valley. We really liked the local mountain with the Moosalp. We have made various day trips to great sights in the area: Zermatt with the Matterhorn (attention: ascent to the Kleinen Matterhorn at 3,883m absolutely worth seeing, but very expensive), Aletsch Glacier and Lötschental World Heritage Site, Pfynwald Nature Park, Binntal Landscape Park). Everything was easily accessible from Bürchen. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
