By far the worst meal I’ve had in my three years of living in Switzerland. The “aubergine bleu” sounded great on paper, basically a cordon bleu but with aubergine instead of chicken. But the aubergine was really undercooked (somehow both tough and soggy), and full of big seeds. It was genuinely disgusting. The photo is what I left behind, after eating half of it (which was chewy and raw but at least had no seeds). You can see all the seeds in the bit that’s left, really horrible. Even the most inexperienced chef would have known that what they were serving was inedible. My friend had the cordon bleu and he said it wasn’t very nice, but it wasn’t as bad as the aubergine. The beers were very nice and the service was good. The waitress offered to give me the meal for free. I paid the full bill out of principle, but I’ll never go back. Really disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 40–50
