Restaurant Boo is famous in Basel for great Thai cuisine. The Som Tam is excellent and hard to find in Basel. From my experience in Thailand it should be served with Thai green beans and without carrot. The sauce was so good I drank all of it, sour, sweet, spicy, full of flavor. The chicken cashew (Gai Pad) was good, but the portion was very small and rice was not included, only a few cashew, I expected much more. It should cost 50 % less. Paying 28 CHF for a dish that size of a starter was very disappointing. The Pad Thai was really good, a bit different but great. Overall always a great experience with lovely staff and atmosphere.
