Great food, disappointing service. Let's start with the positive, because it counts: the burgers were impeccable. Beautiful presentation (ours came skewered with a blade, topped with fresh sprouts, served with generous sweet potato fries) and, above all, real flavour that lived up to the plating. On that front, nothing to fault. The service, however, spoiled the experience. My mother's vegetarian pizza arrived very late - so late that the waitress came over to ask whether she "still wanted it." An odd question: we were there to eat, and my mother had nothing else in front of her. From then on, every ordinary request (cutting the pizza, a bottle of water, a bit of extra mayo, a napkin, the hot sauce) seemed to be a bother. The final straw: the bearded waiter turned to a young, visibly stressed colleague to complain about us in German, assuming we didn't understand. We heard every word. That has no place in a restaurant. And on the pizza itself, the flavour just wasn't there. The one real bright spot on the human side: the cook. A lovely smile, a warm presence, and infectious good humour. When I asked him for a box to take the leftovers home, he prepared it with the same kindness.
