Food was ok. We went with the cheese dog which was pretty expensive for just some bread and cheese. 7.50CHF for a salad bar salad with not many options. Views are incredible though and staff was nice! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The views at Restaurant Bellevue on Pilatus-Kulm are absolutely stunning—but unfortunately, the food doesn’t come close to matching the scenery. The setup is chaotic, with no clear line or direction, leaving people confused about where to go or how to order. To make matters worse, the pricing is unclear and confusing. It’s hard to tell what’s included and what isn’t, and you may find yourself charged unexpectedly high prices for even small sides. There’s little transparency, which makes the experience feel even more frustrating. The food itself felt like overpriced cafeteria fare—bland, uninspired, and not worth the premium prices. It honestly reminded me of a high school lunch tray. I was very disappointed, especially when I found a piece of plastic wrap in my meal. With limited dining options on the mountain, it’s easy to end up here, but if I were to visit again, I’d definitely pack a picnic. The location is breathtaking, but the restaurant experience left a lot to be desired. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Dear Scott Gardner, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. While we’re delighted that you enjoyed the breathtaking views, we’re truly sorry to hear that your dining experience did not meet your expectations. We regret the confusion you encountered with the ordering process and pricing. Your comments have been shared with our team, and we are actively reviewing how we can make our setup and communication clearer for all guests. Regarding the quality of the food and the unfortunate incident with the plastic wrap: please accept our sincere apologies. This is far from the standard we aim to uphold, and we will be investigating this matter to ensure it does not happen again. Your feedback is invaluable as we work to improve both our service and our offerings. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future so we can provide the high-quality experience you deserve, one that truly matches the beauty of our surroundings. Warm regards, Restaurant Bellevue Team
