A good table with tasty food. Unfortunately. with a wonderful offer in the wine cave no way to get the aperitif early evening or coffee in the morning even when the staff is there seeing you outside when you try to get in. The service is not with respect to the quality of the food served. St Prex is a small village where people talk to each other, every knows everybody, and we see that other comments agree with mine. Price per person: CHF 70–80 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I was a bit hesitant to write this review because I see that the restaurant is getting full as the word is spreading like wildfire. It was indeed an amazing discovery! This was our 2nd time having lunch at this newly-opened Restaurant Basuges. The 1st time was the 2nd day they opened! The warm hospitality of the Basuges team, particularly that of the owners, Loubna and Chef Yann, coupled with the gastronomical food created by Yann were a deadly combination. Four of us ordered the Menu du Jour (oeuf poche, emulsions forestieres, champignons a la noisette for starters; dorade caramelisee, fenouil et pomme vertes beurre blanc d’agrumes for entrée; and poire confite & glace chocolat, mousse amande for dessert) and it was just exquisite! Each presentation was indeed a work of art! Suffice it to say, the food here never fails to satisfy a gourmand’s palate. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
