Dear Mrs. Randall, Thank you for visiting us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry that your experience did not fully meet expectations. At the time of your reservation, our team did inform you that there would be a longer wait than usual, as the restaurant was fully booked. That particular Saturday was exceptionally busy, with a record number of guests this year. We do our best to keep our menu available in full, and on that evening only two of our specialties being Confit Duck and the Beefsteak were unavailable. Regarding the cover charge (couvert), this is a standard practice in the majority of restaurants in Croatia, and it is clearly listed on the very first line of our menu. Price is 2 eur, it is exhibited on our web page. It includes an amuse-bouche, unlimited homemade bread, extra virgin olive oil, butter, and premium balsamic vinegar. As for the invoice, since your party of six requested to pay separately, each guest was issued both a credit card slip and an invoice. It is possible that only the slips were collected while the invoices were left behind, which may have caused some confusion. Concerning the wine, please rest assured that we operate our family restaurant with integrity and professionalism. We regret if there was any miscommunication about pricing and we will review this internally. We genuinely appreciate your comments as they help us to continue improving.
