Dear Sir/Madam,You came to dinner as a group of 15 people, including 7 children. First, we waited for 40 minutes for everyone to sit down and finally order something to eat. In any other restaurant, you probably would have been asked to leave by that point. Nevertheless, we welcomed you and provided you with the same service and hospitality as we do for every other guest who comes to our restaurant for dinner. However, while your food was being prepared, your 7 children were running around the restaurant as if they were on the street. This says a lot about your behavior and the way you raise your children. We asked you at least 10 times to make sure that the children stopped running around the restaurant, but you completely ignored our requests. When I came to speak to you and ask you one final time to control the children, you started yelling at me in front of the entire restaurant. Everyone was looking at you because of the way you were behaving.Every table in the restaurant complained to me that they could not enjoy their dinner in peace because your children were running, jumping, and screaming throughout the restaurant. They were also constantly opening the restaurant doors, even though we explained that the air conditioning was on and that it was 38°C outside. Because the children kept running in and out, they were letting the hot air into the restaurant. After you finally left, all of my guests told me, “Finally, they’re gone. Now we can enjoy our dinner in peace.”Obviously, the problem was not our restaurant or our service. The problem was your behavior. Our guests normally leave very satisfied because we treat everyone with respect and hospitality, just as we would welcome them into our own home. This can also be seen in our reviews. Therefore, what you wrote in your review is simply not true, and it is completely unfair to accuse us of something that did not happen. In the future, when you visit a restaurant anywhere in the world, please understand that you are expected to sit at your table, eat, and enjoy your meal. A restaurant is not a street or a playground where children can run around freely. Other guests have also paid to enjoy their food and have a peaceful evening, and you did not allow them to do so.We are always happy to welcome families and children, but we expect parents to take responsibility for their children’s behavior and respect the other guests in the restaurant.Thank you and best regards.
