Good wine will make your meal better and you'll surely come back. There is a lovely view from this restaurant. The high ratings of Ponar would be impossible without the competent staff. Prompt service is something that visitors note in their reviews. This place is ranked 4.6 within the Google grading system.

Beautiful views, well worth the walk up the hill past the monastery. The food is delicious and well presented. Good quality and fairly priced. If you are staying in Orebic it's worth visiting.

We were here few nights ago and we were impressed with view and food.Terrace and sight are amazing,best in Orebic.Main dishes is something very carfully paired with side dishes.At the entrance we were suprised with man who was grilling the meat because he wanted to lead as to the table and we sad we want the waiter.He spoke poor english and his attitude was repulsive and disturbing.We didn't know if we turn around back or what, but we stayed and had dinner.This is one of the best restaurants in Orebic but this kind of staff behavior is an appropriate and it's unexeptable.We hope that they will do something about it.Best regard and good luck in future business.

Ponar's main attraction is the location and the outstanding view. However, the food and the service did not meet our expectations. My fish soup was just a brew with pieces of fish meat without any herbs or vegetables. The main fish dish was underseasoned and fries were made without any salt and probably in overcooked oil, not something I would expect in a fine restaurant. When we complained, the waitress responded only in Croatian and the excuse was that the menu was new and so was the chef. No effort to make up the impression of the customer. They will hopefully fix everything before the main season starts.
