Situato a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, ideale per un pasto veloce, ampia selezione di piatti. Noi abbiamo preferito 2 insalate (abbondanti) ed un piatto di prosciutto (prosciutto indegno, secco e salato), 2 birre ed un'acqua.....circa 20 euro a testa. Personale cordiale.

A mile east from the main port of Hvar there sits a beautiful pebble coved beach, and just off of said beach lies the small island of Pokonji Dol, which is where both the beach and this restaurant derive their names. The setting of this restaurant is beautiful, and its seclusion makes it very tranquil, but is the main reason this restaurant gets a lot of trade. The table set up is open plan, basic but nice. Pricewise it is very similar to the rest of Hvar, in that the food is a bit expensive, and the drinks even moreso. I had a chicken salad (€15) served in a decent sized bowl, unfortunately it was mostly lettuce, with a sparce amount of chicken. The waiter was nice, but service was very slow. I initially attempted to place my order at the bar, but was told to wait at my table for the waiter to take my order, which seemed bizarre given no-one was waiting at the bar and most the restaurant was full. So I waited about 10 minutes for my order to be taken, the food was served fairly quickly, but I had to leave my money at the table to pay, as I had been waiting over 20 minutes for my empty bowl to be collected (so I could ask for the bill), and by the time I had finished my food the restaurant has mostly emptied out. To give some lee-way, there were only 2 people covering the bar and floor, which seemed a bit short, however they were going at the pace you'd expect at somewhere that was very quiet, or heavily staffed. For the price paid, it wasn't worth it. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Sorry all guests when come in our bar and restaurant wait to order on the table,so you was not alone in terrace and not wait long.Sorry, all guests in restaurant wait to order when sit down at the table.You was not alone in the restaurant and wait long time.We decided how many waiters will be in the terrace.The salad was fresh and big with resonable price.Kind regards
