A friend and I weren't overly hungry, but we really craved a good pizza. We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by chance, tucked away in a lovely little street right below the Church of St. Catherine in Novalja – and we certainly didn't regret it! We ordered one large pizza and some beers. Even though it was quite crowded and there weren't many free tables, an incredibly polite waiter found us a spot right away. When the pizza arrived, we were blown away. I’ve probably eaten around 105 different pizzas in my life, but this one was truly fantastic and goes straight to the top of the list! Very, very delicious. Kudos to the entire staff and all the waiters for their effort and outstanding hospitality. Special shout-out: The restaurant is completely dog-friendly, both on the terrace and indoors. I noticed in some reviews that a lady complained about this due to "hygiene reasons." I am genuinely curious as to what those hygiene reasons could possibly be... After all, if someone is bothered by dogs, they always have the choice to simply skip this restaurant and go somewhere else. For us, this is just another huge plus for the atmosphere and hospitality. All praise to Restaurant Pod Zvon, and thank you for a truly delicious dinner! We will definitely be back.
