20 euro x i pici cacio e pepe e 16 euro x paccheri alla Grecia + 88 euro x questa bistecca. Direi che è veramente tanto. Non succederà più.

We were in Volterra last week and tried Un Posto al Sole for dinner. Our group of 4 had one of the best meals that we had in Italy. The pasta was fresh, homemade, and cooked perfectly. I ate a steak cooked on a wood fire and served with a tomato and arugula salad on top which was drizzled in olive oil. It was an absolutely delicious steak and cooked rare. The wood they used gave it a slight smoky and salty taste that was unbelievable. Service was great and the prices were average for the region and more than fair when you consider how good the food was. We almost didn't stop there because there were no other diners. The staff told us that it was because of the severe thunder storm that went through there before we arrived so some people stayed away. Please note that they have a "tourist menu" with pictures of the food and a very low price. I would call that menu "entry level" and designed to pull in people on a budget so lower your expectations for those items. We stayed away from that menu and asked the staff what they would eat and we were rewarded with amazing food. If you find yourself in Volterra give them a try. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
