We went to Romantica the other night while staying nearby, and it is located in the heart of Einsiedeln. The restaurant is clean, the food was ready fast and tasted great. The pizza crust wasn't too thick, and toppings were very flavorful. The price was average for the cost of nearby restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly and hospitable as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not so great, though. The whole restaurant smelled like someone was smoking, and we sat in the non smoking section. When I had to use the restroom I realized when I got inside that that room was the only room not penetrated by the smoke. Once I sat back down, a few minutes past and the smell was becoming too much for me to handle. So I went back to the restroom for a breather. I was a little disappointed by the service also. Once we were done eating, we asked for a box to put the leftover pizza in, and that part was quick. But after about ten or fifteen minutes of waiting for our waiter to come over again to get our check, I went over to ask for the check. The lady said that she would get it, so I sat back down. But it wasn't for another ten or fifteen minutes that the check did come, so we were inside the restaurant longer than needed. We were the only ones in the dining room, so the time it took to get our check should have been relatively quick. We like to try out new restaurants, so we thought that we would have to try this place too. Bottom line: if you like a good Italian style dinner, but would prefer to stay away from the smoke, than I would not recommend going to this place. Instead, I would definitely recommend going to Klostergarten instead. This place is completely free of smoke from my experience, and the pizza here is outstanding. The crust is thin and airy. I would rate Klostergarten five out of five stars. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

The restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere, kind service and good food - totally unexpected for a tourist destination (I went on a Monday evening by myself) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Quite a few options of pasta and pizza without meat
