Tutto molto buono . Pan-pizza strepitoso. Prezzi gusti . Servizio 5 stelle. Appena 300 metri dalla strada costiera e sulla spiaggia, quindi po’ essere un’ ottima pausa. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20

You don’t come to Pizzeria Leonardo for fine dining, and that’s exactly the point. The menu is honest, classic beach fare, steak and fries, grilled mushrooms, a plate of pasta. Nothing that tries to reinvent the wheel. But here’s the thing that makes this place special: mum is in the kitchen, and her son runs the front. So even the simplest dish comes out tasting like home cooking, made by someone who actually cares how it turns out. The owner doesn’t just run the place, he serves you himself, and he is genuinely one of the friendliest hosts you’ll meet on the coast. He keeps an eye on everything and never leaves you sitting there waiting or wanting. We’ve spent hours here, and the whole time he looked after us like we were family. The prices are more than fair, easily some of the best value around. And on top of all that, he makes an excellent coffee, which is reason enough that I find myself dropping by several times a day. If you’re in Drvenik, do yourself a favour and stop in. You’ll come for a quick bite and end up staying far longer than you planned.
