This restaurant gave us uncooked food. The Capri pizza (pictured with cheese and tomatoes) was barely warm and way too salty. The cheese was cold in the middle and you can clearly see it is still an unmelted rectangle. The other pizza was bland and not salty enough, but cooked slightly better. Me and my wife were trying to wipe the seasoning from the tomatoes of the other pizza onto this one in an effort to make it more palatable. In the end, we just ate some toppings off the pizzas and threw the rest away. It was easily the most depressing culinary experience we ever had. We paid a total of €28 for both pizzas. We later met some local Italians who explained we overpaid and got ripped off. I would agree. Normally I would never be this negative, I understand mistakes happen, I don’t want to ruin other people’s businesses, etc. etc but the fact they served uncooked/undercooked food poses enough of a safety hazard that I have to say something. I hope the restaurant reads this post and takes the correct course in improving the quality of their food, and the tourists reading this can make a more informed decision when it comes to spending money for restaurants around Sorrento. Cliffnotes: CONS: undercooked pizza, underwhelming flavour, too expensive, made me mad enough to write a negative Google review; it also gave me heartburn. PROS: the young lady taking our order seemed nice and pleasant enough. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
