Bear with my English & apologies, I'm an immigrant (my wife and daughter are Slovenian citizens) who just moved to the neighborhood & have only had about 7 months of Slovene lessons, but I'm learning & making the effort. This is better explained in English. This is a bad pizza restaurant, unfortunately. I went here with my wife and 3 year old. We were hungry. They were nice enough to give the kid colored pencils, so that's good, I guess. We waited way, way too long inside a completely empty restaurant for less than mediocre pizza. From the start, the server did not understand our requests. I asked for a Radinska, then additionally asked for a beer when she came back a minute later & she brought me the beer & nothing else. For food, we asked for a pikantna pizza with no nacho cheese & no onions & another vegetarian pizza. While waiting for the pizza, we were told the wait was longer than usual because of a lot of take out orders. Still seemed long to me for an empty restaurant, but ok. The server occasionally glanced over at us & was otherwise doing nothing. Almost an hour wait. When the pizza finally came, it was scorching hot & undercooked, clearly rushed out to us. Undercooked dough and tons of toppings on both pizzas. The pikantna pizza had tons of nacho cheese & onions on it...really? Because it was late & we were racing against the kids' bedtime, I made due & tried to eat it anyway as generally I'm not picky, even with bad food. I ate about half & scraped off most of the nacho cheese where I could, but it just wasn't a good experience. After being offered it from the server, my wife opted to have the vegetarian pizza remade quickly to take home. The server then left the other pizza there for some reason, so naturally, we fed the 3 year old because she wasn't as bothered by the bad pizza & couldn't eat the spicy one I had. The 'quickly remade' pizza took another 20 minutes at least. My wife finally went for the bill & said we're not paying for the new pizza. The server said 'Ok'. Suddenly the manager or cook, who he was was unclear, came to give my wife the bill & new pizza & I returned from the bathroom to them arguing. Turns out, the new pizza was still undercooked AND we had a FULL BILL - no discount for the incorrectly & poorly made pikantna pizza, no discount for the poorly made vegetarian pizza AND they had the audacity to charge me for the pizza they, very slowly, remade. His argument was that we ate it anyway, & that it was undercooked because it had bučke on it so it let water out into the dough (even though my version also had undercooked dough & had no bučke...just an absurd excuse I never heard before). That said, it was true on two accounts - we had to feed the kid, & I was fine pushing around the ingredients & didn't want to waste food for another remade pizza of my own. I should have been given a discount for my incorrectly made pizza, without exception. We were offered a new pizza, eventually refused it & should not have been charged for it, without exception. Otherwise, dont offer it. It's ridiculous that after all that, instead of even discussing it rationally, this man came out & began to argue with my wife & essentially blame us for their mistakes. It's a shame because I am new here & wanted to enjoy an easy dinner with my family, especially in a place that seemed friendly enough. I paid the bill (a shockingly hefty 45 euros for 1 beer, 2 cedevita, 2 poorly made pizzas and 1 additional that was refused) to avoid further problem or conflict as I do not like arguments built on ignorance & the man was speaking incredibly rudely to my wife. While my wife was understandably upset & insisted we go back & argue the bill, it was clear to me they felt we were undeserving of any discount after what was ultimately a catastrophic dinner, so I paid & we left. I don't typically write food reviews & I have been in bad & uncomfortable situations before & still managed not to be bothered enough to leave negative feedback. This was an exception. Bad pizza. Bad service. Go elsewhere. Price per person: €10–15 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian options: They have them. Dietary restrictions: Be sure to remind them to cut your pizza more than once. Also, ask them to get a separate pizza cutter for each pizza, otherwise they will use the same one for all pizzas with no regard for contamination from different toppings.
