Ambiente rilassante dove facciamo colazione ogni mattina da ormai una settimana, con cappuccio (2.10 euro) e latte macchiato (bijela kava, 2.30). Molto buono sia l'uno che l'altro. Musica croata in sottofondo e vista mare. Ottima anche la pizza e gli hamburger (decisamente abbondanti). Non facilissimo da individuare, perché rimane sotto il livello della strada. Subject: Formal Complaint About Disrespectful Treatment and Extremely Poor Service Dear Management of Pizza Bar Terapija, I am writing to formally complain about the experience my family and I had at your restaurant today. We arrived at approximately 8:00 PM with two children. From the very beginning, the behaviour of one of your staff members made us feel extremely unwelcome. The moment we approached him, he did not even properly listen to what we wanted. He simply told us that we had no choice and that there was only one table inside available, and that we could not sit outside. What was particularly upsetting was that, after we were seated inside, several tables outside became vacant and many customers who arrived after us were allowed to sit there. This made us wonder why we were specifically told that we had no option to sit outside. Unfortunately, his behaviour remained rude and dismissive throughout our visit. We ordered just two Margherita pizzas and two portions of French fries. After waiting for approximately one hour, our food still had not arrived. During this time, we could see much larger orders being served to customers outside. As we had two young children with us who were hungry and becoming increasingly cranky, I politely approached the same staff member and asked if he could please check on our order or have it prepared a little sooner. I specifically explained that it had already been an hour and that it was a very simple order of two pizzas and two fries. His exact response was: “You can see, we are full. It might take five minutes, it might take ten minutes, it might take more than that. Next time you can go to the other restaurant.” Before I could even respond, he simply walked away. I found this extremely rude, insensitive and completely unacceptable. I fully understand that restaurants can become busy and that delays can happen. We were not expecting special treatment simply because we had children. However, when a family has already been waiting for an hour, and the customer politely explains that two hungry children are waiting for their food, the appropriate response would be some basic courtesy and consideration — not to dismiss the customer and tell her to go to another restaurant next time. What made the situation particularly frustrating was that, after already waiting for such a long time, we were not realistically in a position to simply leave and find another restaurant, because we had two hungry and cranky children with us. The staff member showed absolutely no consideration for this situation. I also want to mention that, as Indian/foreign guests, the way we were treated throughout this interaction made us feel singled out, unwelcome and humiliated. I cannot say what his intention was, but the difference in how we were treated compared with other customers certainly left us questioning whether we were being treated differently because we were foreign guests. This complaint is therefore not simply about a delayed meal. It is about basic respect, courtesy and the way a paying customer was spoken to and treated. I request that the management please look into: * Why we were told that we had absolutely no choice but to sit inside while customers arriving later were allowed to sit outside. * Why a simple order of two pizzas and two fries took approximately 1.5 hours to arrive. * The conduct and exact response of the staff member when I politely asked about our food. * Whether other guests, particularly foreign guests, have experienced similar treatment. We came to your restaurant expecting to have a pleasant dinner with our children. Instead, we left feeling disrespected, unwelcome and humiliated. I sincerely hope the management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the behaviour of the staff member concerned. Busy service is understandable; rudeness and disrespect towards customers are not. I would appreciate a response from the management regarding this incident. Regards,. Shivani.
