Pizza Flor, located in Malpensa, Milan, and connected to GrAno Vino VyTA from the inside, is an apparently busy and crowded spot. I tried their carbonara and marinara pizzas (see picture). Unfortunately, neither was impressive. The marinara had a mediocre sauce with a touch of basil, but the overall flavor was underwhelming. The seasoning felt average, and the taste wasn’t enjoyable for me. Frankly, I think you could achieve better results at home using the same ingredients. The carbonara pizza was another letdown. The cheese blend was unremarkable, though the bacon was decent. The bread appeared fresh and well-baked, but the corners were overbaked or even burnt, which diminished the experience. On the bright side, the service is quick. The staff explains everything, though the lady assisting us seemed rushed. They accept dollars but return change in euros, so be prepared. There are plenty of tables to sit at, and while I didn’t try GrAno Vino VyTA’s bakery, it looked quite appealing. Overall, the pizzas at Pizza Flor were not particularly memorable. My husband bought a couple of sandwiches for us and he asked for them cold. When he brought them over I wanted mine heated so I went back and ask for the lady to kindly heat it for me. She took it from my hand, threw it in the oven and slammed the door of the oven. The other lady asked what’s wrong and she replied, first they say they want it cold and now they want it heated. So I politely apologized and said my husband didn’t know I wanted it heated. I suggest the lady in black glasses and pink hat get a job in the kitchen away from the customers. Service: Dine in Price per person: €10–20
