Great ambience right on the lake with a beautiful view , but the service is uncoordinated and the food remains below expectations ļø. The Pier 34 restaurant in St. Moritz impresses with its prime location directly on Lake St. Moritz and offers a wonderful view ļø, which can be particularly enjoyed when the weather is nice . The indoor and outdoor spaces are cozy and invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the service is negative: there are a lot of service staff, but only a few really seem to know what to do . Orders could usually only be placed in English or broken German, which somewhat spoiled the enjoyment ļø. The huge menu initially gives the impression of variety, but the quality of the food suffers as a result. While the barley soup was very tasty , the tarte flambĆ©e unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Instead of crĆØme fraĆ®che, a recent mountain cheese was used, which made the dish rather heavy and not very authentic . The prices are okay given the location , but overall the visit falls short of expectations. The view and the sunny terrace are wonderful , but the service and food quality still need work.
