Since I was already near Zurich When I'm in the vicinity of Zurich, I thought I'd do without the alternative canteen food, drive 2 minutes and have some good Vietnamese cuisine. Five stars on Yelp are usually a good sign that you are not wrong with your choice. But you should also check that it is not just one person's comment but something broader. Promptly I set my foot in this store, which was to my surprise afterward well occupied, but the buffet and the untidy tables were not very promising. I then sat down at a table of 9, which seemed to be reserved, but no one was interested, and no one came and shortly after that stepped to the all-you-can-eat buffet for 21.- CHF. The selection presented itself in 8 different pots, most almost empty and all somehow looking the same in color. The sauces were all watery, but otherwise, there was not too much to criticize. Drinks, so the idea, everyone takes himself from the refrigerator. When it came to paying, it turned out that the host-cook-buffet-filler-and-cashier in "personal-union" was the only employee on that day. He was very friendly, and for that, I give him an extra star. But otherwise ... not worth more than two stars and indeed not an establishment I would return to.

Stopped by Pho Viet and was greeted by Chef Vien't with open arms. He's already well known by the local corporate offices during the lunch hour but really wants the dinner crowd to taste his dinner menu. If you love Pho then you must try the deconstructed Pho with a whole ribeye sizzling on a hot stone. I didn't have enough room or time but wanted to try everything else on the menu but need to head back to the U.S.A Show some love to Chef Vien't and give him our regards!
