We enjoyed a very high quality meal here. Based in the former fish market, they have kept the huge round stone counter where fish was sold for over 100 years as the collective table for diners. Very cool. We enjoyed the starters but the stand-out for us was a fillet of piper gunard cooked on a Japanese barbecue, with a smart riff on the traditional Dalmatian side of blitva (Swiss chard) and celery cream. This was an absolutely outstanding dish, just delicious! Service also great, our waiter was very knowledgeable and charming. Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Peškarija 1911 is truly one of the best dining experiences on Vis. The seafood is prepared with a modern, creative touch. Every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavor. True rapsody. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, and the location by the sea makes it even more special. The staff are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, giving great recommendations without any pressure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-quality food and a memorable evening. If you’re on Vis, this place is a must.
