Pizza molto simile a quella napoletana, buona. Servizio al tavolo o anche da asporto. Camerieri gentili, musica italiana anche moderna. Prezzi accessibili per Lubiana anche se una pizza a Napoli costa molto meno. Ambiente molto carino.parcheggio non grandissimo all'esterno.Area bimbi. Ci ritorno spesso.

Pizza ottima! Stile napoletano con un bel cornicione! La migliore di Lubiana (e le ho provate tutte, in città).Peccato sia fuori dal centro e ci si arriva solo in auto

TOP PIZZERIA On the second day of our visit to Ljubljana, we decided to go to Peruzza, a pizzeria that has been at the top of my list of pizzerias I want to visit for a long time, and for which I received many recommendations from all over the world. As always, I asked around a bit and in some way prepared in advance for going to Peruzza, I found out that the main pizza master is Aleš Rekar, an experienced pizza master who is also the president of the Slovenian association Picopekov. His twelve-year-old son, Brin Rekar, is one of the youngest pizza masters not only in Slovenia but also in Europe, and he has performed at several major international competitions. Peruzza is located in the Rudnik district at the address Peruzzijeva ulica 63. The street was named after the Slovenian sculptor Svitoslav Peruzzi, so the pizzeria obviously decided on the same name. We arrived at the pizzeria in the late afternoon, and we parked in the large parking lot right next to the entrance. Even though it was a weekday, the pizzeria was quite full, so we had to wait a bit for the nice waitress to find us a free table. The atmosphere is real home, warm and relaxed. There was an Italian Vespa on the wall above our table, and the entire pizzeria was decorated like most Italian pizzerias we visited. Since, like the day before, we used the nice weather for long walks, we were quite hungry. There are about twenty pizzas in the offer, and at the end of the offer the pizza of the month is highlighted, which usually fits a certain season with its ingredients and fillings. We ordered Burrata and Stracciatella. If you thought I didn't order my favorite pizza, you're wrong. In Perugia, pizza with mortadella and pistachio is called Stracciatella because stracciatella is one of the main ingredients along with mortadella and pistachio grains. Burrata is a slightly lighter pizza with mozzarella, rocket and, of course, large burrata. As soon as the pizzas arrived on our table, we understood why Peruzza was declared one of the best Slovenian pizzerias. The pizzas are literally perfect in appearance and taste. And perfect napoletane have a dough that, due to the long fermentation process, is extremely fine, tasty and, most importantly, extremely light. This is exactly the dough that Peruzza makes, and the fillings are composed of quality ingredients. However, in order not to seem like I'm always just endlessly praising the pizzerias I visit, I have to point out one small drawback. Namely, something happened to me that I have already written about after visiting the pizzeria Vatican in Vinkovac. Although the mortadella and pistachio pizza is considered one of the most famous white pizzas, I got a pizza with tomato sauce on top. So, this happened to me for the second time in the last five or six years since I have been ordering this pizza, and I must have ordered it more than a hundred times in different European pizzerias. I guess the idea was to be different from others, but personally I don't like the combination of tomato sauce with pistachio mortadella at all. I see this pizza as a white pizza, not a red pizza. The pizza is nice and tasty, the crust is not overly sour and I ate it with pleasure, but I would have been much happier if the filling had basil or pistachio pesto. If I had noticed this before ordering, I probably would have chosen Bianca or Genovese instead of my favorite. Bianca is a white pizza with bacon from dried pork cheeks, sun-dried tomatoes and orange juice, and Genovese is a pizza with smoked prosciutto, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto alla genovese, after which it got its name. All in all, the trip to Peruzza was a complete success. Peruzza is a great pizzeria that makes modern Napoletana pizzas with almost perfect dough, and I'm sure that everyone will find their favorite pizza in the rather varied offer. Regardless of whether you like light or slightly heavier pizzas. I have visited a large number of Slovenian pizzerias and I can say without a doubt that Peruzza is a pizzeria that is at the very top of the Slovenian pizza scene.
