Perfezione, paté di branzino e cernia, carpaccio di polpo e seppia, brodetto di calamari con paté al forno, vera cucina istriana-italiana, personale disponibile e cortese, il cameriere merita tutti i voti migliori, anche quando è apparso lo chef siamo rimasti incantati. L'unica taverna nella zona di Umago che ha questo approccio, prezzi e cibo eccellenti, da consigliare a tutti. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €50+

We had an absolutely unforgettable dining experience at Konoba Petul. From the very first bite, it was clear that this place is something truly special. We started with a beautiful amuse-bouche warm homemade bread served with whipped truffle butter. It was so incredibly good it nearly put us into a happy food coma. The pâté that followed was simply phenomenal, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Truly outstanding. For the main course, we had fish, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. The texture was incredible, delicate, tender, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best fish dishes we’ve ever had. And the dessert wow. The profiteroles were beautifully crisp on the outside, perfectly light inside, and simply divine. A flawless ending to an amazing meal. What made the experience even more memorable was the owner herself an incredibly charming and delightful woman who made us feel so welcome. We’re truly rooting for this wonderful place and wish them all the best going forward. We’ll definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
