Fabulous dining, the view reminiscent of a postcard. Our server was stellar, the food memorable and the company priceless. Not overly pricey or pretentious, we had a delightful meal. Do try the eggplant, it was great.
This is called Da Georgio not Pensione now. Delicious seafood soup and pasta dishes. And they have a twist on eggplant parmesan that was very tasty. Many people came in for lunch, including Italians and upper class individuals. It is semi-upscale but you could probably get away with wearing any kind of clothes. We didn't try the pizza but it smelled amazing - the brick open is right by the dining area. The view is phenomenal, with large windows around the whole restaurant, looking right over Capri and the sea.
Red Snapper caught in sight. Grilled to perfection and filleted expertly by the son of Giorgio. Beautiful views to the north including Vesuvius and maybe Iscia. Bresaola is a great choice for antipasta. This is NOT Pensione. There are a few rooms downstairs but this is Da Giorgio.
