We are happy about our guests' comments and we take everything seriously, because we learn a lot from them, but I have to tell you that I cannot agree with your comment about the Dalmatian evening. First, I will describe my experience as a guest at this event and thank you for posting the pictures with your comment, because they still make me drool and I would like to have this menu in front of me on my plates again. Although I am not the biggest fan of fish and seafood myself, I was surprised by this menu. Freshly prepared tuna pate as a first course on freshly baked homemade bread with many added little things completely impressed me, although I admit that I never buy tuna or fish pate, because it's just not tasty to me. This was followed by a delicious octopus carpaccio, where I could only say that I would have liked more, but knowing that we had 4 more courses to go, enough was served. The third course was followed by fish soup with rice. Personally, I never wanted fish soup, but as soon as it was brought out and smelled, I knew I wanted to try it. There was not only rice in the soup, but also fresh sea bream, from which the soup was cooked. Beef soup is no longer my first choice from now on! Homemade narrow noodles with shrimp as the fourth course surprised me again. The shrimp was on the plate, nice to look at, but the chefs took care of getting to the part of the shrimp that you eat, for which I must publicly praise them. A lot of effort has gone into making it easier for guests! Tuna steak as a main course served on a bed of green beans prepared with butter potatoes and fresh tomatoes is something I would have said I wouldn't eat the day before. I hope that tuna steak will be on the menu at the PEC inn again, as it is now my first choice (but I admit that until yesterday I was of the opinion that my first choice is always a good piece of meat or beef). At the end, there was a yogurt cake with forest fruits to finish off the whole dish - excellent. With all this, I treated myself to 3 glasses of Aurei Pinot wine from Tomaž Prinčič - a really good choice. For dessert, a glass of Styrian winemaker STEYER, Dišeči traminec selection, sweet wine. My personal assessment is that the food was excellent, the service excellent, and the music suitable for the event. Everyone who registered for the event and reserved a table was informed in advance that a 6-course menu (exactly as I described above) awaits them, a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival (Vaneya Rose Sparkling Wine from STEYER winemaker was served) , a dance floor in the lower rooms and a singer who will sing Dalmatian songs. Reading your comment makes me wonder if we were actually at the same Dalmatian evening. As the director of Lenček d.o.o. but I publicly reply that I am saddened to read your negative comments about chefs and waiters and that I do not agree with them and reject them. The food preparation and service was top notch, everything according to plan and without mistakes. Everyone has the right to their opinion, everyone sees things differently. We received many excellent and positive comments from the guests already during the event and also at the end. Guest comments were similar to mine, and contrary to yours. We also received some comments that the music was too loud, we accept the criticism and will consider it for the next time. I know what ingredients we order in the PEC restaurant (all fresh and only the best quality) and I know that every food is cooked for the guest before serving, nothing is prepared in advance, I know how much effort the chefs and waiters put into preparing and serving at yesterday's event, that's why Unfortunately, I do not agree with your assessment, but I admit that you have the right to your opinion.
