Sunday evening in St Gallen we found this Eritrean place as other restaurants were closed. There was a gathering of members of the community on the terrace. We were the only ones eating and had the inside of the restaurant to ourselves. The owner suggested a dish for us (I would have preferred to have had a more free willed choice having had experience with this type of cuisine). That being said the food hit the spot. The injera was good and the meat stew very tasty. There was some salad as well. I wished we had some of the other veggie kinds of stew as well but it is part of the "family" set which feeds more than two. The owner brought us some extra spice/chili that was very good. Price was reasonable for such an "exotic" cuisine.I believe it was one of the tastier dinners I have had in St Gallen and Locarno combined.
