Siamo stati a fare colazione in questa pasticceria. Ambiente informale, personale cordiale e una ottima sfoglia al riso, visto che io preferisco sempre questo tipo di dolce per la prima colazione, e bene,questa è stata una delle più buone che abbia mangiato, vorrei aggiungere, più buona di pasticcerie molto blasonate. I recently purchased an Easter dove for the price of 32 euros, hoping to delight myself and my loved ones with a high quality product, considering that I have always found an excellent pastry shop with them. However, disappointment was inevitable when I opened the package and found the ends of the dove dry and almost hard, making the product not very pleasant. Only the center was soft and edible. Given that I don't like to cause controversy, however when I spend more than 30 euros for a leavened product, it is sacrosanct that my expectations are not disappointed. Determined to resolve the situation, I went to the bakery the following day, full of hope that the problem would be resolved in a courteous and professional manner. Instead, I was faced with a wall of arrogance and disinterest from the staff. The pastry chef categorically refused my request for a replacement, claiming with misplaced confidence that the Colomba was perfectly good and that I was exaggerating and that he couldn't give me another one because if other people had encountered the same problem as me and advanced my same request, he couldn't have distributed doves left and right! The ABC of the honest trader is served! As a consumer, I expect not only high-quality products, but also a courteous and professional attitude from sellers. I hope that the Pasticceria Peccati di Gola sooner or later will commit to improving its service or at least with those less fortunate who like me only stop there a couple of times a week and are perhaps considered second class customers. But...we would like to point out that the product had already been exchanged without hesitation when she brought it back due to an aesthetic "defect" (and here too we could open another discussion on artisanal products). The SECOND time she came back with an already opened product with 2 ends missing (I remember we are talking about a dove) the other 2 remaining had no problems much less the rest of the product (a fact also recognized by her, SHE ALREADY HAD THE DRY PIECES EATEN)...I repeat, tastes are personal...but she came back to us with a product that in our opinion had no defects, much less the defect she so emphatically specified when she said she had eaten a BISCUITS. Constructive criticism is more than welcome here, in your case we didn't rush it as such. We are artisans first, then traders and we would like to tell you that we try to give our customers (who are not divided into categories as you write) the utmost respect and friendliness, which we believe must be mutual. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT and this story is a clear example of this. Of course we would have been able to change the product without making a fuss as "the honest trader's ABC" says and avoid this bad review, but we care more about our integrity as ARTISAN PASTRY WORKERS and not compromise with people who don't deserve it.
