Excellent fish restaurant (if you are after pizza or burgers this is not the right place for you as it is simply not on the menu). Fish and seafood are very fresh and deliciously cooked. The personnel and owner are really friendly and pleasant to interact with. We would gladly return when on Mljet. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Simply the best beef tartare we had on the Adriatic coast. It’s rare to come across such a dedicated and passionate chef. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the staff made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out...and don’t let the questionable negative reviews online put you off. We’d happily come back if we find ourselves on Mljet again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

With a good selection of restaurants in the town of Pomena on the island of Mljet, the choice fell on the restaurant Pomena, and what I can say is only a pleasant atmosphere with live music and only praise for the flavors we tried, then the local wine, which is a phenomenal plavac, of course, with black risotto and pasta in the Mljet style, and the flavors are so perfect that he would eat the same every day.
