I visited Panificio Vaccani dal 1906 in Lecco and overall had a good experience. The bakery offers plenty of delicious options, from baked goods to pizzas, and it’s clear they take pride in their quality. I decided to try the pizza, which had a nice flavor, but I found it a bit dry and felt it could use more cheese and sauce to really elevate it. The outdoor seating is a lovely addition, allowing you to enjoy your meal while taking in the atmosphere of Lecco. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit pleasant. However, I did find the prices to be a bit on the high side, similar to what you’d expect in Milan Duomo. For a local bakery, I was hoping for a bit more value. That being said, the overall experience was still good. If you’re looking for a charming place with a wide variety of options and friendly service, Panificio Vaccani is worth a visit, though keep in mind the prices reflect its quality.
