Chiamarlo ristorante è una grande offesa per quelli veri … cibo a dir poco schifoso…. Prima di entrare controllate le recensioni fuori perché dentro non c’è linea … okkio ai prezzi delle bevande …. Purtroppo ci siamo capitati x caso …. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner

Possibly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The food is terrible, the staff are rude and the prices are astronomical. When we refused to pay the tip (due to aforementioned reasons) the waiter took my wife’s phone from the table. Never seen anything like it. The older man who owns the restaurant then came to the table and shouted at me in Italian. He then continued to slap my face and start a fight - all because I wouldn’t pay the tip. The waiter hit me around the head with a bottle and then another waiter threw me into the restaurant and locked the door. Three men then blocked the door and wouldn’t let me leave until I paid the bill including the 20% tip. One of the scariest experiences of my life. My wife was crying. It was a truly horrible experience. This was a late night meal so there was no other customers in the restaurant- probably should have taken that as a sign. We were hungry and there was nowhere else to eat at that time. We reported the incident to the police however the police in Italy are as helpful as a chocolate tea pot. We even recorded the entire event on our phones, but again the Venice police are keen to keep their crime rates low by not following up with reports. Please avoid this place. It is a tourist trap designed to take your money. The only reason this restaurant is still alive is due to its location and tourists visiting one time. The restaurant name is different to the name "Panada Group" to avoid people googling the actual name of the place to find these reviews. The restaurant name is generic - I think it said “pizza restaurant” but I could be wrong. All designed to confuse the customer, hide behind a guise of deceit and make it difficult for the customer to log complaints. I also find it funny that you cannot read the reviews on this page unless you write a review. Funny that. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
