Absolutely drop what you’re doing and go to Padela. They are the best restaurant I’ve ever had in all of Europe. They do pasta there that puts even Italy to shame. Excellent fresh pasta, they use local Istrian ingredients in the sauces and mains, and fresh local truffles for any truffle dish. Not to mention absolutely phenomenal wine selection and decadent desserts. Our waiter Igor was one of the most welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind people we have ever met. Padela is a gem in Pula for anyone who loves great pasta. The blue Pasta Aylin with scampi and truffle was a standout, as was the stuffed ravioli filled with creamy cheese and truffle – rich, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Their Italian chef truly knows how to elevate traditional dishes, and the variety of wines complements the menu beautifully. An all around 5 star experience. Our waiter suggested an amazing wine, as well as a delicious entree. The bucatini duck ragu is a must-try for any pasta lover. It's a truly exceptional dish that showcases the artistry of the chef. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly memorable dining experience. A must visit if you are in Pula!
