Cucina Eccellente, atmosfera rilassante , cordialità e simpatia del ersonale. Piatti a base di tartufo divini. Dieci stelle.

Our visit at Pizzeria San Leonardo in Buje was an unforgettable experience! Dino, the chef & owner, created with his golden hands not only a wonderful pizza for us. We also tasted his homemade Malvazia and the olive oil that comes in different flavors. We had a great time with Jessica's attentive service as a waitress. No wonder she loves her job so much! Communicating with her guests in many languages makes the difference at the cozy tavern where you can easily make friends and have a wonderful time. Jessica got her best skills, when she was working with owner Mira at the famous Staripodrum restaurant for more than 5 years. At Konoba San Leonardo she brings her great knowledge of Istrian traditional dishes to the table. Not to forget they are serving a typical “Marende” lunch, Hirter draft & the excellent local San Servolo beer. All is very reasonably priced. As experts on chocolate cakes coming from the land of “Sacher Torte” we got served that excellent chocolate cake! Check it out what you think! Having a big heart for stray cats they saved Slavica “The Konoba Cat”. She is well fed because she works as security to make sure pet lovers notice her outside the entrance. What a great restaurant location right at the entrance to the worth visiting frozen in time town of Buje. You have to make sure to get during tourist season a seat in the shade of the large tree on their terrace. You will have a wonderful view to the Adriatic sea and the opportunity to observe the typical Istrian city life. With Konoba San Leonardo we got a great opportunity in our area spending a happy & culinary time during the sleepy winter season.
