I recently had the occasion to dine at Osteria da Massimo and I have to say that the overall experience was quite disappointing. The place turned out to have no air conditioning, making the atmosphere extremely hot and uncomfortable. The numerous lights on, although they created a pleasant atmosphere, contributed to further increasing the temperature, so much so that we had to go out between one course and another with the excuse of a cigarette. The beginning of the dinner was marked by a disappointing appetizer: not all the fish was fresh and the salmon even looked like it was pickled. Even more disconcerting was the attitude of the waiter, who, during the service of the appetizers, took my sister's phone and shoved it on the table rather brusquely. Moving on to the first courses, we ordered two risotto allo scoglio and two portions of strozzapreti alle vongole. Sadly, the risotto turned out to be just ok, far from tasty. As for the strozzapreti, although they were good, we asked to have one without parsley, and instead we got both without in a single dish, without any warning. Fortunately, the main courses were an improvement over the start of the dinner, albeit not without their problems. The main courses were decent, however, the accompanying french fries were served raw, leaving a sour taste in the overall dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Osteria da Massimo fell short of expectations. From the quality of the food to the handling of the service, several aspects contributed to an unsatisfactory experience. I hope that the restaurant management takes this feedback into consideration to improve the overall quality of the experience offered to customers because the place is not bad, but seeing the fresh fish displayed on the counters I had higher expectations. Good evening, I summarize my point of view briefly 1) we have air conditioning, only that unfortunately you hadn't booked and the only table available was in a point where it probably didn't reach you, but I …Good evening, I summarize my point of view briefly 1) we have air conditioning, only that unfortunately you hadn't booked and the only table available was in a point where it probably didn't reach you, but I really don't think the heat came from too many lights 2) the waiter asked several times to move the phone to be able to put down the dishes, so try to ask whoever lacks manners 3) salmon is marinated with vinegar so it necessarily tastes like vinegar 4) given that the question "was everything ok?" you answered "very well, only that the child is tired and let's go away", I advise you to express aloud all these notions of cooking and catering of which you seem to be an expert, so at least an interesting discussion is created Good evening !More
