Sarà che ha visto che eravamo turisti ma ci ha scammato alla grande… mangiato poco e male (ci ha servito il pesce cane che era immangiabile spacciandolo per prelibatezza), non ci ha dato un menu né dei prezzi… noi ci siamo fidati viste le buone recensioni e visto che nell’attesa si liberasse un tavolo abbiamo chiaccherato col proprietario e ci è sembrato un tipo alla mano… alla fine abbiamo mangiato poco e pagato tanto. Conosciuto tramite un amico,pesce freschissimo,location troppo carina con musica dal vivo tipica. Cozze e grigliata di pesce favolosa ,diverse dai soliti ristoranti turistici,dolci ottimi,grappa offerta e tanta simpatia dello staff. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo visto gli aumenti generali. Oh my god - hear me people! I found it. I found the ACTUAL hidden gem of Rovinj. This place is a MUST visit spot within the old town. My partner and I stumbled across this place due to being let down by expensive dinners on the harbour. Our main regret of the holiday is not finding this place sooner. Firstly the atmosphere is wonderful, nestled away behind the bustling streets of the wayward harbour lays Osteria Casale. Our server was extremely helpful in every way and even showed us the exact fish the head chef would prepare for us. It was so fresh I was scared it wanted to jump back into the ocean We enjoyed a carafe of wine, a stunning fish platter and the best parmigiana I’ve ever tasted. Our bill was an eye watering €38. Eye watering not due to us feeling ripped off, which we’d felt a few times in Rovinj, but due to us feeling like we owed more for the experience. Truly a 5 star restaurant - three cheers for Osteria Casale Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
