Il cibo non era particolarmente fresco. I gamberi erano duri e i molluschi insapori (arrivati, peraltro, freddi nella pasta allo scoglio). Qualche antipasto buono, ma comunque niente di che. I had the pleasure of recently visiting Osteria Anguilla Brilla in Orbetello on 10th August and was extremely impressed with the dining experience offered by this welcoming restaurant. From the moment you arrive, the rustic and familiar atmosphere envelops you, creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The menu selection was a true triumph of local flavors and culinary tradition. From the appetizers (in particular the cuttlefish tagliatelle) to the seafood first courses (this time worth mentioning the spaghetti anguilla shines with smoked eel), the main dish of the house, each course was a tribute to Tuscan cuisine. Fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to quality. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, walking me through menu choices and offering recommendations based on my preferences. This helped make the experience even more enjoyable, giving a personal touch to every aspect of the evening. The ambience of Osteria Anguilla Brilla has fully captured the essence of Tuscany, with traditional details and a feeling of warmth and welcome. The ocean blue walls and simple but charming decor made the meal not only a culinary experience, but also a journey into local culture. Ultimately, the Osteria Anguilla Brilla in Orbetello is a culinary jewel that cannot go unnoticed. If you are looking for an authentic taste of Tuscan cuisine in a lovely and friendly environment, this restaurant is definitely one to consider.
