Giò's vegetable garden and kitchen is the solution to your desire for intimacy, tranquility, healthy and satisfying food, friendly and kind service: Giovanna and Carmela know how to seduce you and how to treat you with kid gloves, making you feel not like at home, but like in a spa. The atmosphere is suffused and so peaceful that you will have to converse in a low voice so as not to ruin it. The key word is innovation. Nothing is left to chance, everything is built to satisfy the 5 senses. It will be a new reality for you, never seen before: leave the caciara at home, free yourself from negative energies and let yourself be carried away by the flavor of genuine and unique products, cooked with the love that most restaurants have lost along the way, giving way to quality over quantity. Restaurant with few seats, with refined furnishings and a very intimate atmosphere. The owners, the sisters Giovanna and Carmela, are very knowledgeable, always present without ever being intrusive. The entire menu is based on the Low Temperature Cooking technique, which preserves the flavors and aromas of food in an incredible way. We wanted to try a bit of everything, both first courses and meat and fish dishes. We were really impressed by the quality of the dishes! Prices in line with the quality and refinement of the dishes. A plus of the restaurant is the possibility of purchasing many of the dishes offered in vacuum-packed menus. For example, after dinner, we bought a stuffed squid, some orange chicken, and some herbed pork fillet, as well as various side dishes that we can eat comfortably at home. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Potenza! Orto e Cucina da Giò was an experience beyond all expectations. The restaurant, welcoming and private, allows dinner by reservation only, guaranteeing an intimate atmosphere and impeccable service. Giovanna and Caterina did not limit themselves to serving us dishes, but shared their vision of cooking, explaining the details of CBT (low temperature cooking), enriching the dinner with personal anecdotes and passions. The quality of the food, especially the octopus, was sublime, transforming every bite into an emotion. But what makes Orto e Cucina da Giò unique is the overall experience: in addition to enjoying excellent food, we were offered the opportunity to see up close how it is prepared, even receiving advice on how to replicate the techniques at home. Eating here doesn't just mean filling yourself up, but learning, sharing and experiencing a unique moment. Behind every dish there is a story, a piece of life that Giovanna and Caterina are happy to tell, leaving their guests with an indelible memory, enriched by deep emotions.
