I'm still horrified and dismayed by the waiter's behavior. Unfortunately, it is not possible to rate the food because it never got to that point. As a big fan of Thai cuisine, with various trips to Thailand and frequent visits to Thai restaurants, we went to One Thai Curry with great anticipation. After my friendly greeting in Thai, I received a snappy “Hello” from the waiter without making eye contact. He then made us wait for 10 minutes to bring us the menu cards without comment. When we were finally allowed to order there was a misunderstanding. Instead of hot tea, my wife ordered a cold tea and instead of the lichi juice he ordered, he brought our daughter a mango juice. Actually, we thought it wasn't a problem. My wife also ordered a hot tea and asked for the juice to be swapped. The waiter then started insulting us so we got up to leave the restaurant. The waiter - a Thai, of course - became louder and louder with his insults, so the boss joined in. She asked him several times to be quiet and go to the kitchen. Unfortunately, he didn't stop his verbal insults and condescending gestures. So we left the restaurant completely horrified and looked for another one. I have never had such a negative experience in a restaurant. Luckily, I am a very calm and peace-loving person. Otherwise the situation would have escalated completely.
