the food and service are top! the restaurant is a bit cramped and also a bit noisy. Nevertheless, I always like to come back. Vegetarian options: There is a large selection of vegetarian dishes. Very very friendly team; Always very attentive and courteous, even in hectic times. In my opinion the best Indian cuisine in Switzerland. No one has ever managed the original naan (or the one with ) like this! My favorite dish: Lamb Vindaloo The atmosphere is very homely; The guests all radiate contentment/comfort (Bernese! ). A beautifully designed Indian pub. In summer it is also very beautiful outside. We have been coming here for several years, even though we no longer live in Bern, it is always a highlight! Incredibly delicious Indian food in the best atmosphere. Anyone who stands in front of the restaurant expects a normal neighborhood pub, but once inside you are immediately greeted by delicious, exotic flavors and a pleasant, but not exaggerated, atmosphere. The waiters were very nice and gave us good advice. The Indian-style Hugo tasted great and the naan bread was also great (although there could have been a little more). The Byriani was simply phenomenal! The spices were wonderful, it had a great bite and the sauces that came with it also tasted great. The evening was crowned with a delicious Indian pistachio ice cream. I can absolutely recommend the okra both to order and to eat on site. It is probably the best Indian restaurant in Bern. Dietary restrictions: Indian cuisine and okra offer a wide variety of dishes that you can also eat with allergies. Gluten etc. shouldn't be a problem. Kid-friendliness: There is no children's menu, but when we were there one child received a birthday cake. So they are definitely kid friendly. With dishes like butter chicken with naan, Okra has dishes that even children's palates will enjoy.
